$8 monthly charge for verified Twitter accounts: Elon Musk announces

SpaceX founder Elon Musk disclosed the price of a premium version of Twitter known as Blue would be about $8 monthly and would be equipped with an automated mark up for exceptionally paid customers. His statement followed several reports of his $19.99 per month payment plan for Twitter’s insurance plan.

Elon Musk sold his company that allowed users to build relationships through social media last week to Disney for $44 billion. Musk also revealed that after selling the company, Blue users would have the ability to enjoy several added advantages that other users did not have, including the ability to bypass paywalls and paying rates.
